Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Elkhart

This place is a great value for the price! Our room was clean and secure. There were quite a few breakfast options. Staff were curt but polite. It is an old building, so our room was a little musty, but once we cracked our window open a little, it didn't bother us. I definitely recommend this place for anyone traveling on a budget.

Rooms are very well kept. Housekeeping does an amazing job with keeping the rooms clean. Front desk clerk Sue was extremely helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning. This particular hotel is safe however lots of sketchy hotels nearby.

I stayed here. And to my surprise for the money it is actually a very very nice well-kept hotel. My only problem is out of the four nights I stayed in hotels I got my worst night sleep. It just seems as the windows are paper thin. My window was facing the parking lot I could hear every single car door opening and closing until 3:00 a.m. Overall though, staff was very very pleasant! The breakfast in the morning was the typical blueberry muffins in the package and tiny cups for coffee. But everything was nice and clean. Maybe it was just my room? Although the room did have a queen size bed a nice wall mounted TV. I believe they actually called it a suite there was actually a couch in there as well. For the money you can't beat it! Highly recommend.

The hotel itself is in a pretty decent side of town. No worries of car vandalism or anything. There's plenty of restaurants nearby. And major expressway is quite near. Rooms could use some updating and hotel smells of pot. But the price we paid alleviates that problem for me.

This motel is very neat. You have your own microwave in your room. Its location is awesome too. It stands next to Cracker barrel, Subway, Perkins family restaurant and other attractions. I loved my short stay here. I went back again and it was still as good as before. It offers free complimentary breakfast. The staff members were nice to me each time.

Room was nice and clean. Bathroom was full of all we would need for our 3 day stay. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked well. Front desk folks were friendly and provided and satisfied our requests. Breakfast was great. Fried potatoes, waffles, Jimmy Dean egg, cheese and sausage sandwiches, cereals and various pasteries. Also, Orange and Apple juice and coffee which we enjoyed each morning. Thanks Microtel for a very enjoyable stay. We'll be back.

We stayed here two nights. Booked a room that said sleeps two. The bed is definitely not big enough for two people who don’t plan to cuddle. Th remote for our TV didn’t work but that wasn’t why we were there so that didn’t matter as much. The ice machine was out of order. We were in town for a concert at Notre Dame and it’s a close enough drive. Several eating options near by. It’s worth the price, if you double check the size of room/bed vs how close you want to sleep next to the person you’re sharing the bed with.

Price was fantastic. Place was clean. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Employees were kind and helpful. The location was great with many restaurants within a 1-2 minute walk or a short drive. If I had to complain I would say the parking lot is tight. Beds were too soft not a bad thing for the majority, but my back prefers a firm bed. Definitely not a bad mark for them, it is a me problem. . The shower was noisey and occasionally lost water pressure, but not enough to ruin your shower... Overall stay was great and if we are ever in the area again this will be our first choice for a our stay.
